US police investigating a murder-suicide in Reno, Nevada, have announced that the suspect in the case is 53-year-old Irish woman, Joan Huber.

US police investigating a murder-suicide in Reno, Nevada, have announced that the suspect in the case is 53-year-old Irish woman, Joan Huber.

US police investigating a murder-suicide in Reno, Nevada have announced that the suspect in the case is 53-year-old Irish woman Joan Huber. 
Detectives say their investigation has revealed that in the days leading up to March 4th, Mrs Huber shot her husband and their two teenage children before taking her own life. 
The weapon used in the case has been identified as a firearm. 
Police say they are still actively investigating the case and there is no known motive at this time.
On Wednesday morning, police called to the Huber family home in Reno and discovered the bodies of Joan Huber, her husband, 50-year-old Adam Huber and their two sons 17-year-old Adam, and 16-year-old Michael.
The local medical examiner’s office said that all four died from gunshot wounds
Joan Huber was originally from County Kerry and has been living in the US for around 30 years.
