With no E3 this year, publishers have taken to holding their own online, promotional events. The latest in this long line of streams comes from Ubisoft, with its Ubisoft Forward event on July 12. But aside from just seeing the companys new games, Ubisoft is also throwing in another incentive to watch: a free copy of Watch Dogs 2.
All players will have to do for their free copy of the 2016 game is watch the stream for Ubisoft Forward while logged into their Uplay account. Unfortunately for console players, only the PC version of the game will be offered through the promotion.
Viewers should have no trouble logging into their Uplay account if theyre watching from Ubisofts official link at ubisoft.com/forward, but the stream will also be live on YouTube and Twitch, although its unclear if you can still secure your free copy of Watch Dogs 2 on those platforms.
As for the show itself, Ubisoft has already announced that it will show Assassins Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and the new battle royale game Hyper Scapeduring the event. There are sure to be a few others and, if past E3 events have been any indication, maybe a surprise announcement or two as well.
The Ubisoft Forward event will begin on Sunday, July 12 with a pre-show at 2 p.m. ET, while the main show will begin an hour later at 3 p.m. ET.
