The HKBU School of Business offers a full range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Master, MBA, MSc, DBA and PhD. These range from general management programmes like the MSc in Business Management ranked in the world’s top 100 Master’s in Management programmes by the Financial Times in 2019 to specialist programmes like the newly launched MSc in Data Analytics and Business Economics and MSc in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics). The School also collaborates with renowned institutions to offer unique partnership programmes, including the MSc in Entrepreneurship and Global Marketing with the Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, and the MSc in Global Marketing Management with the University of Sheffield, where students get to study in two institutions in Hong Kong and Europe.
The School has gathered a diverse student body, from 40 countries and regions around the world. To provide students with a more personalized and internationalized learning experience, the School has established exchange partnerships with over 200 leading universities in 36 countries, allowing students to complete part of their degree abroad. A project of Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Trust, the School of Business and Economics at the University of Management and Technology (UMT SBE) was established in 1990 by leading educationists, professionals, and industrialists. The aim has always been to enhance organizational and individual effectiveness, with ILM seeking to respond to the challenges of an information-based economy, globalization, and ever-increasing complexity by transforming learners into leaders.
At present, UMT has more than 700 faculty members that include over 200 PhDs, besides maintaining an enviable network of over 20,000 alumni and 25,000 students from 100 districts of Pakistan and 20 countries across the globe. SBE at UMT has evolved into a premier institution of higher learning in the country and region, manifested in the award of highest rank to the school by the Pakistan Higher Education Commission. UMT is also ranked among the top 500 universities in Asia by QS Rankings, in addition to being one of the top 200 in employer and academic reputation.

The International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) program at the National Chengchi University (NCCU) was the first MBA program taught entirely in English in Taiwan. Headed by the NCCU College of Commerce, the business school receives the AACSB, AACSB (Accounting), and EQUIS accreditations. Less than 0.5% of all business schools in the world receive the exceptional honor. Leveraging on its unique geographic location in the Asia-Pacific region and the growing importance of Asian economies, the IMBA program presents a multicultural learning environment and provides opportunities to interact with leading industry figures and international renowned faculty for students to cultivate global perspectives and excel in the business world.
As an innovator of business education in Asia, the uniquely designed IMBA curriculum integrates theory with practice across a wide range of courses that emphasize industry-specific cases with a worldly impact.
